“I would like to stress that Ukraine strictly adheres to the international standards existing in the sphere of counteraction of trafficking in human beings, since, as of today, Ukraine’s legal basis corresponds to all European requirements,” noted V.Chumak.
The First Vice-President of GRETA Alina Brasoveanu and the Administrator at the Secretariat of the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings David Dolidze stressed that “the state of development of migration policy in the part of its anticorruption component requires a more perfect legislation and active implementation in the Ukrainian realia”.
V.Chumak informed guests that the Committee actively watches the activity of executive authorities in the field of counteraction of trafficking in human beings in Ukraine and is ready to cooperate in this sphere with all interested organizations.
